It’s always important to support your local vendors, artists, creators, and makers; but in the era of COVID and quarantines this has become even more critical. This time of year is especially shopping, consumption, and gifting heavy but this list can be a helpful guide all year round. Whether you are looking for a birthday present, creating your own wishlist, or shopping for a holiday, we encourage you to shop small and support local, vegan-friendly businesses! Be intentional with where your money goes and who you support with it.
As always, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or comment below to add to this list!
Vegan Gift Guide by State
Wonderful alternatives to this list include purchasing a gift card or making a donation to a local sanctuary or other non-profit group.
Gift cards are great to keep around as a last minute gift and your purchase will make such a difference! Need some inspiration? Visit our Support Local page and reach out to the businesses directly to purchase the gift card.
- This list was crafted by word-of-mouth, social media, personal relationships, and Googling. Nobody has paid for these spots and a listing is not an endorsement
- Listings marked with an asterisk (*) are offered virtually or can be shipped to you
- Some of the discounts provided are affiliate codes and help keep VeganZine running, we really appreciate the support
- Not all listings are 100% vegan, we do our best to note when this is the case but please verify materials and ingredients for yourself
- We have broken down this gift guide by geography but acknowledge that these names and states were created by colonizers. Please find further information on Native territories here.
